The pavilion was divided into five sections: “Hakka Dietary Gallery”, “Book Exhibition”, “Audio-Visual Zone”, “Hakka Dietary Culture Zone” and the “Miaoli County Cultural Affairs Bureau Diet Promotion Exhibition”. The exhibition put Hakka dietary artifacts on display supported by guided tours as well as the display and sale of related publications. The pavilion hoped to introduce the different aspects to Hakka dietary culture to the audience.

The Hakka Cuisine Carnival activities included “Gourmet Market” and “Live Shows”. Sales, demonstrations and taste tests of Hakka delicacies from the Miaoli region were hosted at the carnival to provide a dynamic presentation of Hakka dietary culture.

Hong's collection and recording of Chinese chopsticks since the Shang Dynasty allowed for the artifacts to be preserved in a systematic manner. The exhibition also provided the opportunity to highlight the essence of food artifacts in Chinese dietary culture.
