Application of Academic Publication Grants |

1. Objective The grants are provided to encourage and stimulate domestic and international individuals for making in-depth research and the publication of substantial studies and academic works on Chinese Culinary arts and dietary culture.
2. Qualification Requirement (1) All domestic and international individuals may apply for subsidies for the publication of academic works related to 3. The Category. However, people in Mainland China and individuals who have received other scholarship or grant are excluded. (2) Applications will be accepted for specific completed book manuscripts, but not for books to be published in a series. (3) Applications should be the first edition publication of academic works. The prose, novel, script, poem, satirical thesis, briefing and cookbook are not included.
3. The Category (1) Chinese Dietary Literature, History, Anthropology, Cultural Relics, Archaeology, & Arts. (2) Food Nutrition, Food Health, Restaurant Management, etc. (3) Applied Science of Living, Food Technology (restricted to the research on Chinese Dietary Technology)
4. Application Procedure (1) All applicants are requested to use the forms available below for downloading. (2) All applications must include the following items: b. A Draft of the Literature (3) Applications should be posted to the Foundation of Chinese Dietary Culture. (Don’t send applications by fax or e-mail.) 5. Deadline The deadline for applications is at the end of October (by the date of postal seal) every year.
6. Screening (1) Specialists and scholars will be invited by this Foundation to organize reviewing committee for applications screening in order to award qualified applications. (2) The screening process will be conducted during November and December extensively and the results will be announced at the end of December. (3) The Grant is offered for maximum four candidates by the Foundation once per year.
7. Important Information (1) The amount of publication grants is decided in accordance with the actual development, but the maximum amount of each award is NT$100,000. (2) Publications that receive support must add the following line on the title page: “Sponsored by the Foundation of Chinese Dietary Culture.” (3) Ten copies of each application are required. (4) The grants receivers in Taiwan shall make a presentation at the seminar held by the Foundation. (5) No plagiarism is acceptable. Otherwise the grant will be retrieved and the candidate will be disqualified.
8. The Grant Measures will be in effect after the approval of board of Directors, so does the revision.
