Objective |

This Measures is stipulated to encourage and
stimulate national and international doctoral and master
students who are interested in Chinese dietary culture.
In addition, to encourage who are interested in getting
into an extensive and systematic research on this
subject, also, able to share their valuable academic
research and essay with the rest of the world. |

Qualification Requirement |
| |
All national and international Doctoral and Master
students are included. However, graduate students in
Mainland China and students who have received other
scholarship or financial aid are excluded from filing an
application. |

Scholarship & Financial Aid Category |
| |
| (1) |
Chinese Dietary Literature, History, Anthropology, Relics,
Archaeology, & Arts. |
| (2) |
Home Economic, Food Nutrition, Food Health, Restaurant
Management etc. |
| (3) |
Food Technology (restricted to the research
on Chinese Dietary Technology) |

| 4. |
Application Paper |

College and graduate school transcripts. |

An Essay Plan approved by the department and
signed by your advisor (professor). |

The Plan must contain over 10 pages, and
include the following items:

b. Motivation & Purpose
c.Literature Reviews
d. Research Method
e. Research Structure
f. Research Field and Limitation
g. Reference
h. Advisor's (Professor) Signature |

| 5. |
Evaluation |
| |
Specialists and scholars will be invited by this
Foundation to form a reviewing board for applications
evaluation in order to award qualified applicants. |

| 6. |
Application Measures |
| |
The deadline for accepting applications is at the end
of October (by the date of postal seal) every year. The
evaluation process will be conducted in November extensively and then the list of awarded will
be published in December. |

| 7. |
Number of Scholarships to be Awarded |
| |
Doctoral students: 1, Master students: 1. If no
qualified applicant can be found for any of the category
listed above, the vacancy will not be filled |

|
| 8. |
Scholarship & Financial Aid Proceeds |
| |
Each qualified Doctoral and Master student will be
awarded NT$120,000 & NT$70,000 respectively. The said
scholarship and financial aid will be granted to
qualified applicants when the foundation is informed of
the successful completion of the essay. |

| 9. |
Privileges and Obligations |
| |
| (1) |
The receivers of scholarship and financial
aid may access to the library facility and
equipment owned by this Foundation during the
essay preparation period. In addition, they may
apply to have certain relevant literature and
books purchased. However, the purchased
literature and books must be returned to the
library later on. |
| (2) |
The receivers of Master and Doctoral
scholarship and financial aid must have their
essay completed in two and three years
respectively after the winner list is announced.
Ten copies of the said essay must be presented to
this Foundation for record. |
| (3) |
The receivers of Master and Doctoral
scholarship and financial aid may apply to this
Foundation two months beforehand for a
six-twelve-month extension with proper causes.
This said extension can only be applied once. |
| (4) |
The wording "This Essay is Accomplished
with the Assistance of the Foundation of Chinese
Dietary Culture" must be affixed to the
Essay prepared. |

| 10. |
This Scholarship & Financial Aid Measures
will be in effect after the approval of Board of
Directors, so does the revision. |
